Sept 12, 2026 / 24th week of Ordinary Time
Pastor's Notes
Religious Education and Confirmation Preparation starts this week. We offer RE for kids from Kindergarten all the way through 5th grade; Confirmation prep starts in 6th grade and we celebrate the sacrament in 7th grade. After Confirmation, we continue the formation of our youth through Youth Ministry. We also offer Young Adult Ministry for those of college age and beyond; and for us "Adults" we offer various opportunities to grow the faith. Formation NEVER ends, but is our path to come to know and experience God's presence. Please participate.
It is also the Fall Fest this coming Sunday, starting around 11am-ish. Come by for food, fun and building up of community.
Fr. Boby will be away for the rest of September and early October on his vacation. Until he returns, there will not be any Friday Masses.
This weekend at all the masses will be Br. Jude, from the Glenmary Missions. He will speak of their work for those in need. There will be a second collection for this work. Please listen and participate.

Stewardship
The Parish has "Adopted" Manzanita Park. We will be holding a clean up session next SATURDAY Sept 19 10am at the Park. Come on by and show our civic pride and our Church's commitment to our community (FFE and Vol hours).
Coming to Mass
..Full, active and conscious participation... This is from the Document on Liturgy and is giving the goal for each liturgy. What this means is not just about how loud we verbally respond or sing, but will we allow the liturgy to change us. Will we listen to the words of scripture, the prayers, the homily with an openness. Will we accept the Body and Blood of Christ with humility. We will arrive on time and leave afterwards, being a member of the community.
Welcome Home Project
Grateful for a Challenge pledge: A family will donate $1.75M if we can match an additional $1M. Let's do this!
Thank you for being a part of the Our Lady of the Snows community!
